Lump Sum Investing or Dollar Cost Averaging?
In this video I’ll tell you the pros and cons of lump-sum investing vs dollar-cost average investing, using multiple studies that analyzed both strategies in different types of markets.
Nort, to be more specific: for a company I liked I’d be willing to lump sum when it’s reasonably priced or cheap (which is what I’d optimize for). But I wouldn’t lump sum if I thought it was expensive (I’d wait on that and use my money elsewhere).
