There are currently subtitles available in 4 languages: English, Khmer, Indonesian, and Fijian. The Frontier Brokers Network comprises 7 impact investment firms, working collaboratively to develop resources such as this video, which we welcome you to share! Each of the Brokers adopt a gender lens investing approach, assessing gender dynamics and measurably addressing gender inequality – in capital markets, their own investment processes and in local contexts where social entrepreneurs are working.

This video follows fictional entrepreneur, Dewi, highlighting the unique barriers she faces in accessing financial services as a woman. We then identify the steps investors can take to incorporate a gender lens into their investments, to increase gender equity in value chains and make a difference in the lives of women entrepreneurs such as our character Dewi.

The Frontier Brokers developed this animation as a resource for those, like us, who wanted a more simplified, accessible explanation of gender lens investing. So, if you would like to have your own downloaded copy of our GLI animation to share with others, please contact us.
